The Bison Belles were established in August of 2018 as an addition to the Sunset High School Dance Department. 

 

As a Junior Varsity drill team, the Bison Belles purpose is threefold:

​

1. To serve as a performing group representing Dallas I.S.D. and the high school campus

throughout the community & state.

​

2. To boost the morale and spirit of the high school campus.

​

3. To develop character, leadership, self-discipline, sportsmanship and individual responsibility in each member.

​

The Bison Belles participate in:

​

1.  JV football games (4-5) where they perform in the stands & on the field

 

2. Varsity Football Games (2) where they perform in the stands, and also pre-game

​

3. Competition- 1 Regional Contest in February & 1 National Contest in March

​

4. Bisonettes Spring Show where they perform some of their competition routines

​
